I hate to use this blog as a product promotion, but I had to tell people about this.
My family tries to use natural products when it comes to lotions, soaps, dish detergent, etc., but often it is hard to find products that are affordable and actually work. It seems that some companies are more concerned with being “all natural” than they are with results.
If you are looking for a natural insect repellent, but are skeptical as to the effectiveness, you have to try Burt’s Bees Herbal Insect Repellent. We used it when we went to the fireworks at Oakledge. Despite the swarms of mosquitoes around us, we did not get bitten even once.
It is a combination of Lemongrass, Citronella, and Rosemary oils in a grape seed oil and vitamin E base. My two-year-old said it “smells like tea.” And best of all, it cost less than the parking did!
