I think I am going to start doing Friday afternoon link dumps. This one is kind of late in the day, I know.

Get ready for the Nerd Edition, links to the nerdiest posts the blogosphere has to offer.

If you haven’t already, you should take this short quiz and check your Nerd Score. I proudly displayed in this post that I scored an 81.

You have to watch this Weird Al video “White and Nerdy.” I saw it on Candleblog, but I didn’t watch it. When it showed up on the homeschool blog Nerd Family, I gave in. Weird Al is as relevant today as he was when I was in middle school.

Now that you are primed for nerdiness, check this out if you dare: Star Wars character blogs.

Just Padme (The blog of Padme Amidala)
The Misadventures of Anakin Skywalker
Chronicles of a Jedi Master (The blog of Obi-Wan Kenobi)

Ready for more nerdiness?

Check out this Nerd-a-licious T-Shirt.

Sorry for all the nerdy stuff, guys. I think using Bob the Optimizer’s Linux laptop had adverse effects on me.

That reminds me, be sure to check out his favorite site: DistroWatch for all the Linux nerdiness you can handle.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Why is it that so many conservatives are drawn to the Star Wars saga when it is so blatantly pantheistic. I can understand the appeal of the Lord of the Rings (even if Peter Jackson did purge Tolkien’s tale of its underlying Roman Catholic and distributist ethos–read Joseph Pearce for more information on this), but Star Wars always seemed an odd pick.
