Pharmaceuticals and Advertising.Dr. Amanda Kennedy, Pharmacist; Dr. Lynn Gregory, UVM Professor of communication and Dr. Richard Pinckney MD, MPH look at various types of prescription drug advertisements on television, print or in spot marketing (pens, notepads etc.) They will deconstruct the media messages and discuss certain instances where indirect misinformation can be leading consumers and providers down harmful or expensive health care paths.
