The Vermont Tiger Symposium

As you may have heard, Vermont Tiger held a symposium today entitled: Entrepreneurs or Entitlements: the future of Vermont’s economy.
Panelist, and editor-at-large of vermonttiger.com, Art Woolf clarified what is meant by “entrepreneurs” in that title as “market solutions to public policy problems.”
The symposium featured addresses by national personalities David Audretsch, Amity Shlaes, and P.J. O’Rourke. […]

The iBrattleboro Lawsuit - Why It Matters

Like some of you, I just received an e-mail from Christian Avard, aka Brattlerouser, about a lawsuit filed, in part, against iBrattleboro.
In it, he linked to an article in the Brattleboro Reformer about the suit.
The gist is that someone said something about someone else in a comment on iBrattleboro, so iBratt is named in the […]

Blogging Update

Well, I decided to quit the NaNoWriMo. I just got too far behind. I have to get up early in order to write and I just haven’t been able to. I hurt my back pretty badly, then I got a mean sore throat, complete with dizziness. I did not even get […]

Carnivals and Clumsiness

I had a couple of good post topics, but unfortunately, I fell yesterday and did something really bad to my foot. I can’t say what because, having sprained, fractured, and otherwise hurt my feet and ankles literally more than a half-dozen times in as many years, I know that there is little that can […]

Aqua Dots Recall

Updated.
FYI…
The toy, Aqua Dots, has been recalled. This is serious.
The toy beads are sold in general merchandise stores and over the Internet for use in arts and crafts projects. They can be arranged into designs and fused when sprayed with water.
Scientists say a chemical coating on the beads, when ingested, metabolizes into the so-called date […]
