Haik Bedrosian, of Burlington Pol, who was the blogger that inspired me to start blogging, is posting again.

He is also going to host a radio show on Burlington’s new low-power station, The Radiator, 105.9-FM, Saturday from 9-10am. It is actually on right now.

The Free Press did a story on The Radiator, if you want to find out more about the station.

Burlington filmmaker Bill Simmon, who I interviewed once on She’s Right, also does a show (with Steve Benen) called, “Poli-Sci-Fi Radio,” which airs Sundays from 4-6PM. You can also download podcasts from the show website.

In other news, Owen Mulligan, a Burlington political activist, who I met while standing out in front of Burlington Electric one frigid Tuesday in March when I was running for City Council and he was running for Inspector of Elections, is involved in a new group, Green Democratic Alliance.

The mission of the Green Democratic Alliance (GDA) of Burlington, VT is to unite pragmatic Greens, progressive and green Democrats, and populist Independents into long-term, strategic grassroots alliances that are locally-focused and dedicated to non-violence, democracy, social justice and environmental integrity.

You know, if you’re into that sort of thing.

So, that’s the latest and greatest from some of my internet friends.

And they say politics makes strange bedfellows.

  1. Ever notice how there’s a “click to donate” button on whatever Owen is working on?

  2. Is there something wrong with asking for donations?

If there is, that’s news to me.

I don’t make enough to fund my projects alone, and I thank those people kind enough to support projects I have been a part of with their financial donation.

    It is always appreciated.
    peace,
    Owen
