John McCain and Hillary Clinton won in New Hampshire. Results are here.

I am not going to say anything more about it right now. The nomination is still wide open. I think that the political blogs have spent enough time on NH.

The legislature is back in session and Town Meeting Day is coming up fast. We have local issues to consider, yet we are all focused on New Hampshire. (Except VT Tiger, which really keeps its focus on VT policy.)

I also have some philosophical issues to contend with, since when last I read comments left here, I was accused of not supporting democracy (because I think the government should be limited by the Constitution) and I was compared to a five-year-old and called “braindead” (because I wanted to further a dialogue by daring to ask someone to elaborate on his position).

And last, but not least, I am hosting the Carnival of Principled Government on Monday, which will take some time to put together. (Send submissions here.)

So you see, I have a lot to post about aside from the presidential elections. But I am sure I will post about that, too.

With you on that one. I’m going to have a headache for a week after that.

As far as my comment, perhaps a bit harsh (I’m really sick right now and grumpy), but I did give a few examples before tossing in the towel. The importance of regulation and consumer protection should be glaringly obvious to anyone who is even remotely paying attention.
