So, I finally joined MySpace and I have to say it kind of stinks. I don’t get it. Why are people so into it? I thought it was kind of lame.
Maybe that is because I have no friends, yet. Maybe I will love it, eventually.
I joined because I have been trying to locate an old high school friend, to no avail, and the other day my sister, who is a MySpace addict, was telling me that a long lost friend of hers located her through her MySpace page.
So, I just joined and, wouldn’t you know it, I was able to find my old friend, too.
Admittedly, it serves a purpose.
I just expected it to be cooler, I guess.
Perhaps it is just that I am anti-social, so social networking sites elude me.
Do any of you use MySpace? What do you think about it?

I set up a myspace acount last year> I thknk it’s pretty lame. Half of the contacts you get who want to be your ‘friends’ are really porn spam. The one person that contacted me was a Bible thumper I used to live next to who I had no interest in communicating with. I think the layout is horrendous and cluttered, and reminds me of bad websites from 10 years ago.
