If anyone had any doubts that the New York Times’ love affair with John McCain is over, rest assured it is.
Now they are setting up the next potential post-election Supreme Court fight.
This time, over whether or not Sen. McCain is a “natural born citizen,” as required by the Constitution to be president.
Mr. McCain was born on a military installation in the Canal Zone, where his mother and father, a Navy officer, were stationed.
They do not think that a baby born at a US Military base, to parents that are both US citizens, qualifies as a natural-born citizen?
Gee, thanks for your generations of dedication to the US Military, but you are not really an American.
Is it not obvious that the requirement was meant to prevent foreigners, with possible allegiance to another country, from being our president?
I cannot even believe that people are talking about this!
This is just to get us ready for Obama (or Clinton) vs McCain the day ofter the election.
