Sorry for the lack of blog activity, but I have been feeling a bit under the weather. Not to mention that this election is wearing me out! It’s so nasty. Mental health breaks are becoming a necessity.
So, tonight is another presidential debate. Republicans are waiting with bated breath to see if McCain will finally take the gloves off.
I am of mixed opinion on the matter. On the one hand, there are issues that he needs to challenge Obama on. He can’t just keep letting things slide. He needs to counter the McSame meme, which is so obviously false, and hit back at the Democrats on the economy.
On the other hand, Sarah Palin plays a mean bad cop to McCain’s good cop. And McCain does need to avoid playing to the angry old man narrative.
I guess I just have to trust McCain to run his own campaign, not that I have a say anyway.
I will be watching the debate tonight, but I will not be online. I need to get to bed early, since I am still fighting off a cold, so I will be watching the debate from there.
