According to the Burlington Free Press, the following item was approved by the City Council last night for inclusion on the ballot for the March 2008 Town Meeting Day election:
An advisory question that will ask voters whether to move ahead with Kiss’ $21 million Moran plant redevelopment plan. The question promises that voters would have a chance to weigh in on the plan if it would require a property tax change. The council amended the resolution on the ballot item to ensure that its approval would be required if the mayor’s development plans for the plant change.
