Exactly two years ago today, the first post appeared on a little Blogger blog called She’s Right (shesright.blogspot.com).
And, since I finally imported the rest of the Blogger posts to this site, you can read it here.
That first post is not like a typical first post for a blog. I just started right in as [...]
I won’t be that easy to get rid of.
Sorry for the dearth of posts this week. I have been very sick. In fact, I am still very sick, but I figured it was time to do something about the fact that the top post on my blog contained the word “Friday” in the [...]
I feel like I am going off the deep end every time I write about the presidential election.
The reason is clear – my small government principles are not embodied by the front runners in either major party.
I have been all over the map from wanting a new party to form, to not voting in the [...]
On the day I sing the praises of Diigo, my Lunchtime Links did not auto post. I have no idea why. Sometimes the auto posting runs late, but I set it to post at 11:00AM to compensate for that. It’s already 12:53!
Update: My auto-post never went up today. I don’t know what [...]
Wouldn’t you know it? I finally get around to installing WordPress 2.3.2 and now there is a new “urgent security release,” WordPress 2.3.3.
Oh well. The big security risk is for multiple users, so it doesn’t affect me.
Besides, it can be fixed by replacing the xmlrpc.php with the fixed version of that file, instead [...]
I updated the “Burlington Politics” page, but it is not really anything you couldn’t read in the paper. I will be doing some commentary there, soon.
The “Channel 17 Show” page is updated with a link to my Jan. ‘08 podcast. I talk about Burlington Town Meeting 2008 and the vote on the Mayor’s [...]
The President gave his State of the Union address last night.
Our government is trying to stimulate the economy by going further into debt to encourage us to continue the bad spending habits that got us into this situation in the first place.
The Clintons have used such repugnant tactics in an attempt to marginalize Barack Obama [...]
You may have noticed that I added a tab for Burlington Politics. (It’s up top there, in the menu.)
I decided to locate all of my Burlington content there, keeping a more general focus on the front page.
I am going to do the same thing with Vermont Politics, as soon as I get some posts together [...]
I moved She’s Right to a new server.
I still have some touch-ups to do to the template. Plus the blogroll needs to be brought over. (Done!) I also had to delete some of the old posts because the import file was too large. They were posts from the blogspot blog, which I imported [...]
I finally did it. I got my own server and am taking She’s Right off of wordpress.com’s free hosting and moving it to my own server.
If you do not visit She’s Right tonight, this will not affect you. She’s Right will still be found at shesright.org and, hopefully, the permalinks will all stay [...]
