Mayoral, not mayorial. I had a few searches on “Burlington Mayorial Race” turn up here. I hope I never said that.
Okay, okay, so here’s where you get to hear my take on who won the debate.
No one! Ha! How do you like that cop out?
Seriously, I do not think there was a winner in the [...]

I have been meaning to post my after-thoughts on the debate I live-blogged the other night, but this stimulus thing has been weighing on my mind.
I will get to it.
In the meantime, check out this video the tells it like it is about Mayor Bob Kiss.
The video is very good. It focuses on things [...]
Today. 5:25. In this very spot. Be here, or be a sphere.
(I stole that line from Dave Barry. He’s much funnier than I am.)
5:25 – The debate is starting. No James Simpson! This debate suddenly got less fun.
First question – tell us why you are the best person to be the next mayor.
Kurt, seriously. You [...]

Channel 17 is having their mayoral debate tomorrow (Tue. 2/10) at 5:25 PM.
You don’t want to miss this. All five candidates for mayor will be there, including the now-infamous James Simpson, Green candidate.

There will me more debates. Hopefully, I can attend at least one in person.

He relays that conversation over at his blog, Twitterings, by Townsend.

Who is this guy?
Where’s he from?
Is he a Republican? [Cue sinister background track]
I was going to do a post this morning that attempted to [...]
Hey blog readers, long time no post. Sorry about that. See, as you probably know, I homeschool three active young boys and we are only a couple of weeks away from Christmas. It is utter madness around here. Utter. Madness. (Don’t you hate it when people do that? Do. That. I do. Almost as much [...]
We are just a few short months away from my favorite election of the year – Town Meeting Day. This year will be even more eventful than usual, with a hotly contested mayoral race.
So far, we have a political newcomer, independent Dan Smith, and long-time Democratic City Councilor Andy Montroll throwing their hats in [...]
