Today’s xkcd seemed fitting to post here.

Raise your hand if you don’t know someone like that.  If you’re a Vermont reader, chances are slim that your hand is up.

A friend of my husband called his representative to share his opinion on a bill.  The representative spent the entire conversation trying to convince him he was wrong!  What are we electing these people for?
What do you think?  Should a representative vote the way his constituents want him to, or should he make up his [...]

I found this commercial on YouTube for the 1982 Smurf game for ColecoVision.

One week from today, we will have our elections. Who better than yours truly to bring you live, election-night interviews from the Vermont Republican Party in Montpelier? Well, I am sure there are better people out there, but you’re stuck with me!
I will be covering the Vermont GOP live on Channel 17, as [...]

PJ O’Rourke has cancer. As with everything else, he’s using it as an excuse to make us laugh. Although, I teared up a little when I read it.
I looked death in the face. All right, I didn’t. I glimpsed him in a crowd. I’ve been diagnosed with cancer, of a very treatable kind. [...]

In case you haven’t heard, tonight is the premiere of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. It’s on FOX at 8:00.
Why on earth is it on at 8:00? That’s a little violent for the 8 o’clock hour.
You can catch up with season 1 full episodes at the fox website.
